Young Enterprise London is delighted to announce that BDP Media / Atticmedia
is supporting the Website of the Year Award for the third year running. This
is a fantastic opportunity for Young Enterprise Companies to showcase their
technical skills and be recognised for innovative websites. We are inviting
you to be a part of this competition by voting for your favourite website.
Students on the Programme gain practical experience of enterprise by setting
up and running their own real company over the course of one academic year.
They elect a board of directors from amongst their peers, raise share capital,
and market and finance a product or service of their own choice. At the end of
the year they present a report and accounts to their shareholders. Students gain
experience of the real world: taking responsibility and being accountable to their
shareholders for the running of the business.
During their year of trading, Young Enterprise companies have the opportunity to
participate in local, national, and in some cases international trade fairs where
they can sell their products, market their services, and so boost their sales and
experience.
The competition is now closed.
Websites will be judged on the following criteria:
The winning company will be
presented with an award and £250 at the Young Enterprise London Innovation
Awards on 21st June 2010. Members of the winning company also get the
fantastic opportunity of doing Work Experience at Atticmedia.
BDP and Atticmedia is an award-winning London-based digital media agency.
As well as having developed the Young Enterprise London website, they have
designed and built sites for the BBC, Disney and the recently relaunched
RWDmag.com. They are proud to support this competition.
